Parking Spaces

Synopsis:
Elizabeth searches her soul, and the perfect parking space, for that “thing” that allows each one of us to push past overwhelming life circumstances – both real and imagined.

Development History:
An important element of this play is that, while I fictionalized the story line, all events related to parking spaces are, in fact, true.  A writer does not usually reveal true-life elements in their plays, but the circumstances surrounding the appearances and nature of these parking spaces is far to “coincidental” to leave unaddressed.  I must acknowledge Judy Rollings and Kim Porter for their support in crafting this piece.  Parking Spaces went from the page to production at the Herberger’s Lunch Time Theatre in August 2008.
